Besides the shoreline resorts, the Dominican Republic is one of the Caribbean's most  diversely rich spot, from astonishing mountain vistas to prickling deserts, tempting colonial landmarks, bustling city life and rustic countryside with laissez faire  , and accommodating  people. Where do you start?

Go out for a walk around history in likely the most ancient city in today's World. With its cobblestoned roads and brilliantly restored houses, it’s very easy imagining Santo Domingo's grandeur quarter as the throne of Spain's sixteenth empire. Enigmatically, the two distinct periods exist in impeccable juxtaposition here.

It is seen to be the top shoreline in the Caribbean, Playa Rincon is big enough  to ensure every beach bum his own bit of landing without disturbing  neighbors looking over the for and driftwood. A thick palm woodlands gives the foundation and fresh fish can be served if requested.

This tranquil fishing town at the far eastern end of the Peninsula de Samana is a refuge from the crowds. Less tourists and along these lines less commercialization suggests that range around Las Galeras  encompasses the majority of the scenic splendor in DR. Wavering palm trees back shorelines making it resemble a movie set and waves crash on the feet of  rugged cliffs. In the evening, check out Restaurant El Cabito, where you may spot whales and a dolphin or two

Wear the best dress in your closet, do some stretching out and get prepared to set the floor on fire. Dance clubs in the waterfront resorts have the best merengue and salsa bunches. No galleries in the scene, even the Colonial Zone is overflowing with bars, from hangouts for the rich lads to uproarious and vibrant corner stores for locals.

Majestic Panoramas of the Mountain in Constanza

The panoramas found in the highlands of the DR are a sheer bliss to the tourists. Cloud-cladded peaks whose slopes are entwined with appropriately tended agrarian plots and dense timberlands climb from the valley floor in ways which are not typically related to Caribbean islands. Truly a world light years away way from the commercializing coastline, a stay on the fringes of Constanza gives a front seat to mesmerizing sunsets – it's the time when the temperature begins to fall and the nippy air asks for sweaters.
